Rick graduated High School in Dumont, New Jersey and Joined the US Air Force National Guard in 1974 and served until 1980.
He attended Culinary school graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in 1978.
Rick has over 30 years of culinary background in Hotel & Corporate Food Service.
- Including overseeing Special Catering services for the US House of Representatives in 1995.
- He was named co-winner of the Minds to Menu Visionary Award in 1997.
- Rick appeared in a National advertisement campaign for Blue Diamond Almonds in 1997 which was used in all the major food service magazines.
- Rick was an intricate member of Compass Group’s Quality Assurance Standards & Solutions in 2001
- He Served as Culinary Advisory Member, the New England Culinary Institute 1998-2003. And delivered the commencement address in 2001
- Rick has showcased his cooking talents at several public Culinary Demonstrations at Charlotte Shout’s, annual Cultural Event 2002-2006
- Rick worked as National Director of Culinary for Compass Group responsible for development of many Corporate Food programs 2007-2008
- In 2008 Rick wrote and submitted for national publication his first Cookbook, called The Food Pusher’s Cookbook
Rick lives in Andover Township and has 20 years active duty serving the Andover Township Volunteer Fire Department. Rick served as Fire Chief in 1998 and he is currently currently President of the fire department, a position he has held since 2002.
Rick currently serve as a Class 1 member on the Andover Township’s Land Use board as Mayoral appointment for 2010.
